In recent years, the filaments market has witnessed rapid development, with the market’s demand for wear resistance in high-performance filaments applications continually rising. Similarly, the need for stable wear-resistant performance in 3D-printed components has also increasingly become a priority.
Phaetus, with years of experience in the core components of 3D printing, has successfully developed stable high-wear-resistant coating technology and high-performance silicon carbide nozzle applications. In collaboration with Creality, a leading enterprise in the 3D printing industry, they have jointly developed the Silicon Carbide Nozzle compatible with Creality K1C/K1MAX/Ender-3 V3/Ender-3 V3 Plus.
This nozzle adopts a full-metal integrated design and upgrades the nozzle material to high-thermal-conductivity, high-wear-resistant silicon carbide. The throat tube utilizes Phaetus’s exclusive EndCoat™ coating technology, providing wear-resistant protection for the internal flow channel and extending the service life to seven times that of other ordinary hardened steel nozzles.
The cooperation between Creality and Phaetus is not only an active exploration of material innovation and process optimization in 3D printing technology but also a manifestation of precise market demand grasp and deep integration of technical strength. The launch of this silicon carbide integrated nozzle undoubtedly opens a new chapter for high-performance consumable applications in the 3D printing field, pushing the entire industry to a higher level of development.
