CrealityPrint_6.0.2.1574 not connecting to lan printer 2nd time after sending 1 file

When I slice a file on the new CrealityPrint_6.0.2.1574 it sends fine to the printer on the network the first time. But then if I leave the slicer ope and then slice another file the printer can no longer connect even if the previous file is done printing and the printer is ready.

Note the printer is still connected in the devices tab.

Did that to my V3KE, not seeing the printer at all now. Still can’t see the Sonic Pad, I think things are getting worse with every update.

And ironically, trying to get to this forum and in to threads either crashes or takes minutes to load pages tonight. They just can’t get it together. LOL

J’ai le meme probleme. imposible de faire 2 impression a la suite. Obliger de relancer l’imprimante a chaque fois…je suis repassé a la version 6.0.0.1078 et la le reseau ne disparait pas.

How right you are notafananymore.
I find it frustrating waiting for the forum to load quite often … no matter the Windows or computer.

Cheers

Exactly the same here. Very glad that I did not uninstall v5.

BTW, you can always install each new version in a different folder (V5, V6, etc.) and automatically have a fall back already installed. I just tic off the “do you wish to check for updates” on the old version when it pops up. Plus I keep all versions ever downloaded AND find APK’s to side load on my phone too.

I see someone else as pedantic as me

Feeling lucky. I installed CP 6.0.2.1574 today on one of my computers and had no problems running two different prints, wireless connecting to printer, my profiles all showed up.

Don’t understand why it might work for some and not others. I’m feeling your pain and sorry you are having these troubles. I’m still a little biased to Orca slicer.

Oh by the way, I haven’t accepted the E3V3 firmware update yet. It was supposed to fix the previously noted problems. Anyone have experience with the new firmware. I’ll see if I can find any info in a new thread.

Hi,
That is my thought also.
But then, there are likely MANY variations of software installed on each persons computers and as such, many different dll’s etc, etc.
I know that with my computers there are some obscure things running.

Personally I run 5.1.7xx and am happy with it so no need to change at present. It even runs ok on a windows 8.1 computer in my work room.
Then there are some out there that had trouble with 5.1.7, so ?

Cheers.

Mine started doing the exact same thing as the OP’s. it’s very frustrating. did you ever solve the issue or do we just have to wait for creality to fix it with another release?

I have not fixed it yet

Try Orca instead, I found all my printers with that.

For anyone else encountering this, i found the fix! I found that the IP address of the printer had changed (idk why) and was no longer detect8ng them. I deleted all the printers from my account and then manually re-added them one at a time with their new IP address. Bam, instant fix and no issues since.
