I have 2 CFS on my K2 but I’m not able to assign the filaments. Does anyone else have the problem?
The new update has also some serious other problem - I am not able to select a printer. It misses the circle in the device section. I downgraded and will wait, till this gets fixed.
Same issue
I had to revert to 6.1. I cant use multiple CFS or map color under 6.2.
You select printer on top left of screen, the wifi icon.
It assigns filaments automatically now. Before they had to be in the exact right order. Now as long as the color is in there, doesn’t matter what slot of what cfs it’s in. It automatically detects. I haven’t tried non rfid filament. But I imagine you just set the color. Thats what I’m assuming you mean, all my other brand presets are still there. Its way better actually.
Thank you very much, the WiFi symbol was the trick, now everything works
Same issue here.
Since 6.2, mapping doesn’t do anything. Previously, it would pull all filament information from the CFS and map the type/color to available filaments in the slicer. It’s not the end of the world, but it is annoying. Hopefully it will be corrected in a future update.
When you say you are unable to assign – are you in Object mode rather than global? Once in object mode, you should be able to assign filaments for each object – even if there is only one.
Not sure if anyone else has had this problem with latest version: at the end of the print, the printhead Z height is below the top of the final layer: 1st print was 2 objects printed sequentially, and printhead just ploughed through the 2nd object at the end of the print. 2nd tall print was 3 objects (pool noodle sword handles) printed by layer. At the end of that print the printhead ploughed through the taller of the objects. In both cases the head action was strong enough to pop the object off the plate. Luckily no damage to the plate.
