my HI printer got a piece of filament caught in the gears. The piece is tiny and can be seen in the cutter (had to remove the cutter/motor from the printer to find it) but doesn’t stick out enough to grab. Lever to open the gears does not free it up,
I think the best course of action wood be to replace the cutter completely (the motor seems ok). Is this part available? I tried to find a way to buy parts for the HI but have yet to a source.
Any help or info would be GREATLY appreciated.
UPDATE: my grandson got the piece of filament out but I found in the process a small female socket got lost,
tried to add a picture but that doesn’t seem to be possible on this site.
