I need help!!!.. On my Creality HI, I’ve replaced the front motherboard, the extruder, the extruder motor, and the filament sensor wire (all Creality original parts). I tried to extrude, and I still get the message that there is filament in the extruder (which is new), but the blue light does not come on as if there were filament in the channel. I tried to restore to factory, and got the CX2573 (X-axis abnormality) error message. I also updated the firmware on 4 May 2026. Please help or tell me where I can send it for repair.
look on the cables, may be the problem is not the sensor nor the board, instead a broken cable from nozzle to main board.
Thanks, I’ll check again, but I’ve changed almost all the wires. And it’s a pain because they all have to be ordered through Australia; it takes too long, and they are more expensive due to the shipping charges
Test the cable connecting the nozzle to the main board, the big harness.
I took it off and back on, don’t see anything wrong with it, but will replace it if I have to. Part number, anyone?
do not replace, take a multimeter and check continuity between each end of the cable.
Ok, I’ve got a multimeter, but what cables are the ones I’m testing?
This cable, from the end connecting with the nozzle to the end connecting with the back box
a guide of how to change it can be found on https://youtu.be/iGGE2F8KRso will help you to identify.
Be sure the cable is not broken using the multimeter and is full seated on booth connectors
also test the main cable from the back box to the main board:
again, test for continuity of each wire and what they are full settled on the connectors.
This is excellent, I really appreciate it. I will give it a shot, but I will get enough funds to the side to order a new printer, just in case
. I know my limits
. Joke aside, I removed the cable from the front motherboard, reconnected it, and now the only error I get is that there is filament in the extruder. I know there’s nothing in the extruder; however, I just noticed that the plastic part for the cutter is not moving in. I will remove and reinstall the extruder; maybe I installed it wrong previously, preventing the cutter from moving in and out. Will post more. Thank you so much for your assistance!!
