So basically, set it up and plugged in. Ran the test cut and the design space asked me to update the firmware. I select ok and the machine beeps a few times then theres a slow flashing start button on the machine. Thats it nothing happens and the Update screen doesnt go past 0%.
Ive left it on here trying for over 30 mins now and nothing has changed. I thought maybe I could try the manual update with a USB but when I go here Firmware there is no Firmware for my A1 model.
What am I doing wrong? what can I do? I just seem to be going around in circles
Here’s the official link for all Creality laser engraver firmwares:
The other link you’ll find useful for updating the firmware on the Falcon A1 is this page from the wiki:
The guide offers two different ways to attempt the firmware update - first is using a USB stick, and the second is through the Falcon Design Space software.
Good luck with the firmware update, hope it resolves the issue you’ve encountered!
Thank you for your reply , I actually got a response from Creality support and it seems that the firmware being pushed was incorrect and has since been resolved.
Wow .. How did you get a response from support? I have tried all week to get support to fix a problem registering my Falcon A1. No response. Did you phone China!!
I have no idea , I clicked on the icon next to settings in design view and it brings up a problem report page and filled in what I basically said here .
There is no button in settings to allow me to communicate with support. I guess it is not there because I have not registered, Now there is the problem!
I cannot get a verify code sent to my email - so cannot register - so cannot use library. I have tried about 4 times, looked in spam and nothing. Just times out.
FDS software seems ok but I cannot register it seems I will have to find another way.
Thanks for your reply. Cannot get reply from Creality even by email..
