Hello,
I’m new to the forum. Like many, I’m joining because it’s time to address some issues i have currently (lol).
First, I need to define my Creality Ender model. I believe it is the Ender 3 s1, but not sure. No markings on the printer that i can see. I can then see if any Firmware or Software updates are available.
Second, I’d like to request a link to the normal forum stuff regarding maintainence items, replacement parts, print tips, etc.
Thank you in advance.
Mark S.
Hello mark_serotta and welcome,
I would be going to the Creality Wiki page for info about your printer.
When you find the model you have, others will have suggestions as to the parts to stock up on.
If you have the printer up and running, I would not update the firmware untill it is specifically needed to avoid having failures caused by doing so.
Same goes (in my opinion) don’t go for the slicer software as many are finding faults with version 6.
A number of users here run the Orca slicer as it is problem free.
Cheers.
Hi there Radical_Data. I figured out it is an Ender 3 S1 3d printer. Ive had it for a couple of years but it now has some issues that are forcing me to get to know this machine a little better.
I’ll create a new thread when i can post about some specific issues.
Hello All,
I’ve been using the Creality branded heated base plate pad. Noticed after using it that the smaller sections of the model (and even the border too) were almost impossible to remove and ended I up damaging the top surface.
I’m currently re-leveling and I want to service the heated filament head.
Can someone direct me to a good link on maintenance for it?
Thanks.
