Hello there! First post here, excited to start printing soon! I purchased a second hand printer and it arrived today. I been having a crazy day trying to figure out how to make this printer work and I have been able to get over a few things.
The ad and the label on the printer tell me it is an Ender 3 Neo. But it didn’t say Neo on it, just Ender 3, and it wasn’t Auto Homing. I decided to download a fresh new firmware. Then nothing else was working. I tried all possible options for a Neo, but no go. I decided to take it apart and check the board revision. It is 4.2.7 and there is no Neo firmware for this rev. Also no CR Touch for a 4.2.7 board that I could find. So I assumed it was BL Touch and started looking for a rev 4.2.7 firmware, I found it for an Ender 3 Max and the printer working again. So, is this normal? Was this printer upgraded with that board to have a BL Touch sensor? Or was this a repair? Does it matter? Should I just ignore all this and see if it prints fine?
