I put in a new direct drive on my Ender 3. It printed about 4 in up on a Pott ed planter I was making and stopped feeding. Since then it won’t feed at all. I can push filament through without any resistance and I’ve changed the tip but when I hold the filament while it’s trying to feed it just goes down and up down and up. Is there a solution to this problem

Check the connection to the stepper motor on the extruder. Make sure that is running properly.
Thank you very much. I checked those connectors five times and found they were hooked up just fine. After your suggestions I went and looked again and found a broken wire on it. Thanks again it is running beautifully now.
