New to the engraving world and received my Falcon2 40W engraver/cutter this week only to discover it is shipped to you as a pre-assembled mess. I sincerely hope someone from Creality is in this forum and takes it serious to sort this nonsense out. The brand-new machine cannot even cut a simple square. It ends up creating 4 equal length sides, forming a trapezium.
Searching online, I noticed that for a VERY long time and by MANY other creality owners, they are describing similar problems.
When will Creality get their act together and start shipping correctly configured pre-assembled devices to their customers ? Or are we dealing with a defective brand which cannot be fixed ?
Will you accept a brand new car out of factory, that has no wheel-alignment, and other configuration setting done incorrectly ? The answer is NO. So why should we buy brand-new half configured products from Creality and accept that ?
The X and Y axis have a deviation of 2.227 degrees from being square (90 deg).
Upon inspection of the pre-assembled Falcon 2, I could actually see that the horizontal bar forming the X-Axis, have been installed to be further away on the left side, than it is on the right side. You can visually see the metal reveal that the quality control at build-time was not sufficient.
Belts have similar tension, but what is required to solve this issue, is to loosen the one side, and jump a teeth or two. That should provide a much more accurate square.
