Display unresponsive after printing

Hi all,
I’m running the latest K1 Max firmware compatible with the CFS upgrade. I am often experiencing this recurring issue:

After a print finishes, I get the usual “Print Complete” message. But when I press OK, the screen dims and becomes completely unresponsive to touch. The only way to recover is to power cycle the printer.

I’m using Creality Print as my slicer.

Has anyone else with the CFS firmware experienced this?
Is it a known bug or a hardware-related glitch?

Thanks for any insight!

Felice

Did you ever get this resolved? I’m having the same issue after upgrading K1C to CFS. Almost every time I print the screen is very dark and unresponsive.

I managed to get attention from the support team at Creality and they send me an update that seems to have sorted the display issue. I am pretty sure they will release it officially very soon.

I have also been experiencing this issue with recent updates. I can replicate by going into the settings menu and selecting any of the options. If I do not exit the menu option and allow the screen to dim or go to sleep, it is frozen and unresponsive when reactivated. It also happens following prints.

any updates on this issue?

I also have this issue after upgrading to CFS on my k1se, looking forward to any updates that might fix it

Same problem here after upgrading to CFS on my K1C. Where do we download the update?

ich habe das selbe Problem seit dem Upgrade. ist echt ärgerlich ich finde auch kein Update ist echt schade

Same problem here. Display goes dark and unresponsive after one print.

Only back to normal when restart the printer.

I have this problem as well after upgrading my k1 with a CFS. Is creality ever planning on fixing this?

I have the same problem on my brand new K1 (no CFS).

I only noticed it after rooting it, however doing factory resets does not fix it so don’t think it’s related to that.

having the same issue here k1c right after cfs upgrade can still control the printer in the creality slicer but no functionality on the printer screen itself considering how long this has been out and how common this issue is along with how much this ■■■■ costs its crazy they have not pushed a update for a fix yet
