My K1 max was faulty since the day one. I reported this and they kept sending me parts to fix it and still not fixed. I have been repairing my K1 max since the day I bought it.
Faulty bed.
Y axis had made a grinding noise
Toolhead hitting the frame badly
They didn’t even care replace the unit. They kept sending me parts. So you spend lot of money into printers like this and you have to spend your time trying to fix it by replacing the parts they sent since the day one.
Then I bought a Creality Hi to make more printing orders since K1 max had issues. Worked perfectly for 100hrs and then the started ghosting in the middle of a 9hr print. I thought “ah must be a lose screw or belt”
I checked each and every moving part, including the nozzle and hotend. Tightened all the belts. Printers are on a soild desk and still bought a rubber mat to make sure it sits nicely, Nothing changed. Then I reinstall the firmware and nothing changed. Changed all the parameters including reducing print speed and jerk. Nothing fixed.
I contacted Creality support. And yes they asked me to do all the thing I have already done. I told them that I have done all of these before I contacted creality support. They joined a tech into the chat to try to fix this. And they asked me to send a log report and I did. After 2 days they sent me and email with a link of Creality Hi Unboxing and another video of how to tighten the X and Y belts.
I mean I told them million times that I have done all the basic troubleshooting and they still send me that?
I replied that email saying, I told you guys not to ask me to tighten the belts and all the basic troubleshooting. And now I have to wait another 3 days for the to reply back and god knows what they going to reply me back with. Probably another link unboxing video
I’m 100% sure I’m not putting my money into such a company like this. Not even going to buy their filaments. Then second I get these fixed, I’m gonna sell these and buy Bambu labs. In New Zealand a major company stopped selling Creality printers due to high returns. Actually few of them did. Only one company sells these and they started bringing Bambu labs more than Creality now. Thank god.
I was going to buy 6 k2 pluses in Aug, and I’m glad this we lil Creality Hi gave me 100s of reasons not to spent any money on these poorly built printers.
You probably haven’t had this experience before but sooner or later you will when your printer starts giving issues.
