Does CRCC-S7 camera work on computer as webcam?

Hi, I have Creality CRCC-S7 web camera. I was wondering if I can run this as a webcam on my computer, because when I connect the camera to my computer it doesn’t work. I am not too sure if camera is broken or not. By the way I am not able to check on my 3d printer as well because I don’t have creality cloud box to run this camera on my printer.

I don’t have the camera but if I did and needed to check it I would try this…

When you plug it into your computer, does any message pop up ?

Can you open up Device Manager on your computer and watch while you plug the camera in and then unplug it to see if it registers it ??

Hi,

There is no message appeared when I plugged the camera into my computer.

When I open the device manager I can see and select the camera, however it doesn’t show anything just black I’m not too sure if camera is broken or not.

Hi Tunay,

Did you get your camera worked out ?
From the searching I did, I could not find a reference to that camera doing anything other than its intended purpose.
As for a camera for my printer; I use a discarded Samsung phone with “IP Webcam” installed.
It is mounted on a small tripod and I can watch the printing from my desktop or laptop computers.
