Hi everyone! I’ve got a bit of a crazy experiment in mind. We all know the ‘Can it run Doom?’ challenge, and I think the Creality K1 is a perfect candidate!
I have a USB hub with a mouse and keyboard ready to go. I also have a bootable Xubuntu drive. My main question is: does the K1’s bootloader (U-Boot) allow selecting an external boot device, or should I look into running it through a Klipper/framebuffer port instead?
Would love to hear if anyone has tried this or has tips on accessing the display’s framebuffer!
