E07 Error: Hotend temp sensor bad or faulty connector?

I have reached out to support on this, but decided to post here for good measure: My CR-M4 is receiving an E07 error when trying to heat the hotend. The sensor initially reads either -15°C, or 130°C.

I have absolutely verified that the connector is firmly seated and locked in… but what’s very strange about this situation is THERE APPEARS TO BE A ROW OF PINS OUTSIDE OF THE CONNECTOR BASE.

Can someone please take a look at the ribbon cable leading to your CR-M4 print head and tell me if both rows of pins are inside the connector, or if only one row is? Crazy question, I know, but please humor me.

See here for a photo of what I’m talking about:

Thanks in advance!
