I’m using emboss to put a different color text in a part but the text go’s all the way to the bottom but not through. I’m wanting the text to only go 1mm deep to limit the number of color changes. Any ideas?
Can you change the depth of the text in your design program?
I usually use Tinkercad. In that I can make a model with hollow text (or svg picture). I then turn the parts that made the hollows into solids and reduce their size by 5-10% and print separately. ie Print main model in one colour, inserts in another, then press inserts into holes in model.
This model was printed in luminous PLA and the black bits in PETG.
I think that this will work, as long as your text isn’t too small.
