Ender 3 Printers

Hello, I am new to the 3d printing world and recently aquried a Ender 3 Pro when my father passed. I had it dialed in with sock parts but then, upgrades!

Now im running the following:

V4.2.3.32 motherboard

Mriscoc v2.1.4 professional firmware

V2 dispaly

Sprite extruder

CR Touch

Fillimant runaway detection

TL smoother on all steppers

Glass bed

Now, I cannot, for the life of me get the bed leveled or the z-offset correct. I go through the tramming wizard until its successful, then go to my z-offset settings amd adjust with a sheet of paper, then auto mesh. GCode in my slicer has all the parameters to auto home, load the mesh from slot 0 etc. But my first layers look like poopie.

What else can I be missing?

Just curious. Was it working correctly before the upgrades..?

You might have already done this but I would backtrack and go back to stock. Try each upgrade one at a time to make sure everything is working as it should and if you really need to upgrade.

Thanks, it seems to be an issue with the mesh. When I level the bed then disable loading the mesh in my slicer it seems to have fixed my issue. At least the first few layers are laying down correctly now. I also put locknuts on the leveling bolts to help prevent those from moving.

I also used organic/tree supports for the first time and my print failed at 60%. May have used them for a print that was too detailed so I restarted with grid supports and it appears to be doing better.

Why changing Z-offset after “tramming” the bed? Z-offset should be 0 in that case…
