I am trying to get my Ender 3 Pro to properly work on Creality Print (6.20), It is updated with a v4.2.7 board AND a BLTouch (well 3D Touch) and is well tuned and working fine BUT I wanted wireless file handling so I just installed a Sonic Pad. The install went fine and recognizes and controls the print perfectly, recognizing it as “Ender-3 Pro ABL”. I am now running Creality Print 6.2 for a Creality Hi with CFS and want to use ONE slicer to rule them all (ok - both).
The issue is with Creality Print. It finds the printer wirelessly on my network, and connects to it fine. The problem is finding an error free printer profile to slice with for it. First off, there does not seem to be any profile directly for an Ender-3 Pro. The closest is “Creality Ender-3 0.4 nozzle” but when I slice for that and go to print it, I get :
The currently selected printer (Ender-3 Pro ABL) is not compatible with the print preset (Creality Ender-3 0.4 nozzle). Please reselect the printer on the preparation page or select a compatible printer on that page
This worries me although I seem to be able to print OK but I’d rather not have that error as I am not sure what it thinks is wrong.
I also only seem to be able to choose a filament that is on the Creality Hi CSF, rather than being able to tell the slicer to use PLA, or PETG, or whatever. Where is that selected??
