Hi,
After owning a 3D printer for almost 1.5 years and constantly battling with its functionality on my own, I finally decided to sign up for a community and look for help.
I recently had issues with nozzle clogging and thought heat creep might be the issue, given that I had just installed a (fairly cheap) full metal hot end. I tried using CPU thermal paste and adjusted the retraction distance to combat this issue, but during the disassembly of the hot end, the filament got stuck. I had to pull it out with some force, and ended up hitting the heated bed quite hard.
The display immediately became glitchy, and eventually just turned blue. The printer started making buzzing noises, which get louder when I gently turn or even touch the Z-axis stepper motor. I have looked for a solution extensively but have come up empty. Most blue screen issues seem to resolve with firmware flashes, but I can’t imagine that’s the issue here (nevertheless, I tried, but it didn’t help). In this video, you can see the printer’s current state, what happens when I turn the Z-axis motor, as well as the impact scratch from pulling out the extrusion. I hope to find some answers this way.
Thank you very much in advance!
