Ender 3 Pro S1 led light

I just bought a cheap Ender 3 Pro S1 for small prints for work. I installed a Creality LED light for my printer, but when I starting heating the hot end and bed the led light start to flicker. I have it connected to the power supply. What did I do wrong or better what can I do to fix it?

Hello @dvibbert …!

Welcome to the Creality Forum…! Creality

With a 350 watt power supply it should be able to handle the small led light…
How did you hook it up…?

I didn’t have any open connections on the motherboard. I connected it directly to the power supply. I did more research after I posted this and found out that on the back of the power supply there is a switch to change from 230 to 115. Mine was set on 230 and after I switched to 115 the light isn’t flickering now. Still need to do a silent motherboard and figure out the whole software upgrade

Yes. I think switching to the proper voltage will take care of most of the problems. The connections in the picture (with the green dots) are shared with another wire if you want to go that route…

I appreciate the information and the quick support. Hopefully I can progress with 3d printing
