I installed 4.2.7 silent board on my Ender 3 S1. Started up to this. Tried flashing firmware to the mb and then the screen with no luck. What am i doing wrong?
Filename conventions is my first thought and then putting them in the root directory of the flashdrive. What are the filenames that you have?
This just happened to me and was due to firmware version mismatch between board and screen. Either update both or you will need to revert to a version compatible with your screens’ version.
I downloaded the old FW from Ender Series Firmware Download | Creality 3D Printer Firmwares placed bin file in the STM32F4_UPDATE folder, popped SD back in machine, started it up, good as new.
