Hi, I upgrading my mainboard firmware on my Ender 3 SI Pro. Now when I select a print from the SD card the screen freeze and can’t do anything until I switch off/on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Coming from the PC and networking work environment my first recommendation would be to swap for a new SD card.
If that’s not it then for what would seem to be a partially functional firmware update would be to reflash back to the previous firmware and check for board connections and operation of the screen to ensure there just isn’t a hardware failure of the LCD.
If no problem reflash the firmware to the newest version again.
If the issue returns then there is a hardware/software compatibility problem.
Alternatively, your hardware may be of a different version than the software is expecting.
Check the versions very carefully.
Best I can offer as mine has updated and worked perfectly so these are the only solutions I can think of.
