Yesterday after I made a few somewhat successful prints, I am still adjusting a few parameters on the project I had a print that worked a few minutes ago all of a sudden have about a 20mm brim. I only changed the CAD drawing and couldn’t figure it out. I sliced it again and tried to reprint it and it turned out the same. I shut down the printer and the sonic pad and the brim went away but a new issue showed up. Now in a few places, always the same place, there is a separation between the infill and the wall. It is always in the same place print after print but it is not over the complete project. Here is an image of an X single layer print I use to get the first layer correct and the separation is in the lower right hand area of the print.
It really happened on a round tube print first, but I didn’t take an image of it. I will reprint it if it seems useful. I turned off the printer in frustration and came back this morning, hoping the problem would just go away like the brim problem, but not this time.
I tried setting the infill overlap percentage from 10% to 12% but that had a real negative effect on the print. Any guidance would be appreciated. The printer is as of now not useable.
