Ok, new to the forums. Been printing as a hobby (5-10 prints a year) for a couple of years. Just started trying to get more active.
Everything was going fine for my first 4 prints after trying again, then it all went to hell.
In the middle of a 5 hour print (I stepped away because I can’t watch it that long), 3 of the 4 leveling knobs loosened and fell off. the print went to crap so I stopped it.
I tried to relevel the bed and put everything back together to try again. It wouldn’t work. Leveling the bed with the screws isn’t working and the z-offset is maxed down at -5. My initial layer refuses to stick, and it is stringy and unattached.
Is there a way to RAISE the bed? Even with all of the screws completely loose I cannot get a smooth initial layer and the bed isn’t level.
Any assistance appreciated.
