Ender 3 v2 sprite pro extruder problem “ nozzle to lowprature”

Hey so I just installed a sprite pro extruder on an ender 3 v2 and I haven’t even started printing and it keeps flashing a acreen that says “nozzle too lowprature” spotty English aside I don’t know how to fix it I have the red wire plugged in I have a heat sock on and I have updated to a firmware that seems to be ok but it has the build volume set as 230 by 230 even though the ender 3 should be a 220 by 220 if anyone has had this problem please let me know I will try to unplug and re plug everything tomorow if I have to but wiring is such a pain to do so if anyone has had this problem and could help me please do thanks everyone

Have you tried fitting a new thermistor? These are very easy to break and cause an error.

Not yet but I really hope it’s not that

Why? A thermistor is a dirt cheap spare, should really keep at least one in your toolbox. Overtightening the thermistor screw can pinch the wires, the screw should only grip the thermistor wires not crush them. Like I said they break very easily and give rise to errors such as this. A broken heater can also cause a problem, again cheap to carry a spare. As for the build volume, the build plate is 235x235 but the print volume on that plate is 220x220.

If you find that the thermitor is ok did you perform a PID tune after fitting the sprite pro.

What’s the Pid tune again it’s been a while since I tinkered with my e3v2 from home

I fully fixed it thanks

Could you tell us how so we can maybe help others?

So basically the sprite firmware had a cr/bl toutch firmware packaged into it so I just needed to get the newest stock firmware without a probe
