Ender 3 V3 +COPRINT

Creality store is now offering this combination and I am weighing up if it would be a worth while purchase. Any feedback on this combo would be appreciated. Also like to know if its possible to run as a single filament device and achieve the same print times as original printer.

This may be a little late, but I bought that bundle and after a couple prints the nozzle kept clogging, it was extremely tedious so I eventually decided to just remove the ‘upgrade’ and used the normal printer head.

Hi! I pre-ordered the kit with the special discount. It took quite a bit of effort to get everything running, especially since, at the time, there were no official config files for the regular E3V3—only for the Plus version.

Once it’s set up, it works well, but keep in mind the print area gets reduced to around 210×190 mm due to the head design. If you’re printing in color, the purge tower takes up even more space, realistically bringing it down to about 190×190 mm.

Another gripe I have is that currently only Co Print sells the compatible nozzles—$40 per nozzle plus $46 shipping to Australia**, which is pretty steep. Because of that, I ended up buying a different printer that comes color-ready out of the box, and I’m seriously considering reverting the Ender 3 back to its original mono-print setup.

That said, if you decide to go down this path, I’d be happy to share my experience and help you get it up and running.
