Ender 3 v3 ke cr touch not stopping the print nozle from hitting the bed

So I have had my printer for about 2 months, no problems at all, Then my last print, the plate belt was making strange nose wile printing, turnes out the belt adjustment screw was not tight. It was only a little loose, but I tightened it up anyway. Then when I went to do a bed leveling for a print it drove the print nozzle into the plate. The cr touch seems to be fully deployed, but it does not change color until it has mashed the nozzle down into the bed and kind of tilted the head to where the sensor is pushed in far enough to sense the bed touch. The sensor bracket seems to be tight and in correct place and everything else seems tight and in place but even a factory reset can not get past the cr touch not sensing the plate when it should.

Well shortly after creating this entry I found the problem. I was watching a video on the hotend and noticed that mine showed some threads where the one in the vide did not. Turns out my nozzle was not fully tightened and had backed out a bit (about 3-4 turns). I had not messed with the nozzle since buying it, so it had to be loose from the factory. Took it out, cleaned it up and then put it all the way back in, then ran a full self level and it went through flawlessly, however my bed has readings all over the place after being jammed by the hotend over and over, but it just ran a tugboat print flawlessly so I am hoping that the uneven plate and the gouges in the flexplate do not cause problems, running a larger print now to see how it does.
