I need help guys. I’m new to the 3d printing world and I have no clue what’s going on. I bought a new printer from a classmate of mine and it worked great at first with the boat print but when I make something. It always prints fine for the first 2 layers and then just scrapes the infill regardless of which pattern. I’ve asked the previous owner and he has no clue. I’ve even asked the schools 3d printing workers and they have no clue what it is. So far I’ve tried to redo the auto leveling and that didn’t work. Do you guys have any idea?
Gyroid infill should not scrape as it is continuous. Avoid grid it criss-crosses over itself leading to scraping.
If your flow is too high then incrementally your layers will get out of whack and the nozzle will start to scrape sometimes. Alos there is a setting for an infill multiplier in cura so it prints eg three i fill layers at the same time, maybe thatneeds adjusting inwhatever slicer you are using. Try using lightening infill unless yoh need strength , also what bonfireman said.
New machine, using creality print 5.0, should set correct settings itself shouldnt it?
You will have to run a flowrate calibration for that reel of filament to optimise its flowrate.
Using creality Hyper pla carbon fibre filiament thru a hardened nozzle… How do i run a flowrate calibration ?
