My Ender 3 V3 is making a screech like noise when auto bed leveling or when moving. Put metal grease on and wont work, anybody help?
A video would help a bit.
Hi
Just got My e3v3XY yesterday…Setup…
Yes it does make a lot of Noise, to start, and also while printing in 100% mode.
I found if you drop the print speed to standard or silent, its sweet, but you may need the need for speed,
Hope peeps can give some ideas, it is a very noisy printer as in movements, and yes well lubed the tubes.
Also could someone please explain the relationship between the 4 menu option on the e3v3, Ultrafast125%, Standard100%, Stable50% and SIlent, and the gcode lines/or settings to ensure they are implemented, and the overall effect of slowing down does not alter quality of the printed Item.
Thanks
I don’t have that printer, but typically slowing down will improve the quality of the printed item. Also, many filaments aren’t rated to print at the higher speeds of the latest printers. Many of the filaments I have are rated at 100mm/sec or less, my printer can do 600mm/sec.
@Nev1 My Ender 3 V2 Neo does this occasionally. Mostly during homing, or tramming. Where are you applying grease? I have added a 2nd Z axis rod, and this is where my screech comes from: where the lead screw meets the metal threaded nut that is attached to the gantry. Look into the Rod Sloth by NeedItMakeIt. It’s on printables.com. Give it a good cleaning, then apply grease. Cheers
