Hi everyone, I recently got an Ender 3 V3 Plus and I’m having trouble connecting it to Wi-Fi. Unlike other Ender 3 V3 models, I can’t find the Network tab in the printer’s interface. Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve?
Hello @ …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
Not sure why that is not in the menu.
Maybe try to reset to factory defaults and see if it asks for wifi info…?
Hey @jimandyen , thanks for the reply!
I have already tried resetting the printer to factory defaults, but the Network tab still doesn’t appear in the menu.
I’m attaching an image to illustrate the issue.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Before returning it I would maybe look at the connections on the motherboard carefully to see if there might be something loose.
Hey, perfect, I’ll do it! Thanks again for the reply mate!
Note: If your printer is working without any issues it is not recommended to update firmware.
For a motherboard version # CR4CU220812S12 try to go down to version 1.2.3.8 and see how that works otherwise I’m not sure what else to try.
Firmware download. Get 1.2.3.8
I haven’t done this myself but these are some basic instructions:
Hey! @jimandyen
I just did what you mentioned here, and it worked perfectly! Now, suddenly, the Network tab is here. Pretty sure the problem is in version 1.2.3.90!
I used the USB drive that comes with the printer and formatted it as mentioned.
Thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate it!
