My Ender 3 v3 plus updated by itself today after I installed a new slicer software, Creality print 6.0.0.1074, and now won’t read temperatures of the nozzle and bed, won’t move the print head or bed, and doesn’t allow me to flash the firmware.
I have tried to rename the update, V1.2.3.8, to the latest update get around the issue of the printer denying the update, but it hasn’t worked.
I cannot use the printer in any way as of now.
Please help.
I am having the same issues. I was printing all day and after my last print was done I went to my pc and the printer was disconnected from wifi. Did a power cycle and now I can’t do anything with the printer. The internal storage on the printer now does not show anything. I can’t even view a USB stick, can’t re-home it, can’t heat the deck or head up. Any input I do on the touchscreen does nothing. I can’t even see any WIFI networks on the printer. It’s almost like the internal storage is corrupted and the printer is lost and can’t read any firmware or any part of the OS.
Hey, I actually managed to fix this problem a bit earlier today, i posted a guide on Reddit if you want to fix it, look in the r/Creality forum and search for the Ender 3 v3 plus with these issues
If you have any more questions please dont hesitate to ask
That thread worked perfectly. After finding FluidUI at port :4408 of the printers IP address I deleted could see all the sensors were working perfectly. I deleted all the latest jobs and files. Now my printer is back up and running, thank you
Are you witcherspidey on reddit? I am trying to narrow down my search
I have the same problem too.
hey there
did you find any solution ?
i’m having the same issue Here
it happend after i updatet creality print software on pc and connect my printer
This work for myself. I ssh in as root, installed and ran the helper script than the factory reset command. Printer restarted, once that was done I did the firmware upgrade that it said was available and I than did the self calibration. and tested a file.
Thanks for the help.

I think I am having the same issue as you both. I was running this printer just fine using Creality Print 5 for the last two weeks. I received the notice that 6 was out, so I upgraded this AM. I ran three prints, all under an hour. I went to run a fourth, and after using the Send Print to the V3, it is no longer responding. The touch screen boots up, and it attached to my WiFI, but heating, moving and printing commands result in nothing. If I look for local media, it results in just a spinning icon, trying to scroll through the gcode media, it says curdir has no files. . In CP 6.0, I can open details on the printer and see the Camera feed, so something is working. I can also export timelapse files to my desk PC. Its like everything but the printing function of the printer works fine, just no printing calibrating etc. Not certain if CP 6.0 was the cause. I also couldn’t find an Ender-3 V3 Plus explaination for how to flash the firmware.
Same problem exactly. I got in touch with customer service yesterday after updating Creality Print, and they suggested I install the v1.2.3.8 firmware, but it just gets stuck and nothing happens. I reported this again, we’ll see what they say. At least it’s good to know it’s not just me (sorry!)
Exact same thing for myself doing the fix above worked for myself. You want to do a factory reset of the printer and once that is done and the printer restarts it should ask you to update the firmware and then calibrate.
I used the “Reset from SSH connection with Helper Script” method. I tired the USB method at the bottom but did not work for myself.
Glad to see it worked in the end
One rhing to note is that while this video is meant for K1 series, you can absolutely use it for any other Ender 3 V3 series printers, I did not know this at the start but it really helps.
I have the same problem on a new machine, it doesn’t respond to wifi or the Creality logo, it freezes. From the technical support the only solution they gave me was “motherboard change” but there are users in Latin America where it is really difficult to get a replacement.
We need an .ingenic file like the following video, but for the ender 3 v3 plus:
The motherboard is not defective, you just have to revive it and I think that flashing in a similar way to the K1 can solve it, but Creality does not make that file available.
Maybe someone has enough knowledge and can create an ingenic file for the ender 3 v3 plus?
Try Ender-3 V3 can't show files in local nor in USB after installing Creality Print 6 - #4 by Jeremy
The Ender 3 V3 Plus might softlock due to firmware corruption, SD card issues, overheating, or faulty stepper motor connections.
