I bought some creality CR-TPU, and I’m having trouble printing on my V3 Plus. There are strands of filament everywhere, and the printer also randomly stops extruding after a while, continuing without any filament being output. I’ve tried changing the print settings but nothing I do seems to work, I would really appreciate some help or advice on this.
yeah, i couldnt print tpu with that printer, I didn’t even try it with the Creality HI because unclogging TPU from the 3 V3 Plus was a headache. I only print TPU on my Sparkx i7, and it never jams
Check for clogs in the nozzle, and check the extruder’s spring tension.
Do a check before printing : Can your printer extrude the material?
If it can’t, there’s your problem.
If it can extrude, but stops for a reason, then we have to find out it next.
It comes out messy, stringy, and then occasionally stops.
