if it is still in warranty/guarantee then yes return it/exchange it whatever. If, like me, I am well outside warranty or have already voided the warranty, there is an answer to fixing it.
Hi Guys⦠I know this is quite an old issue, so I will just say what I think the problem was with my Ender3 V3 SE.
I had the very same issue after I tried to print a large RC car chassis in PetG⦠thatās the first time I had ever had an issue with my ender3.
It was about a 7 hour print. It started fine. After about 30mins of keeping an eye on it, I went out for an hour, and came home to a pile of weeds all over, around, and under the print bed.
I cleared the bed and started again⦠but it never worked. Everything was crazy from then on. I tried re-leveling the bed. Thatās when the nozzle kept hitting and gouging the bed. I tried factory reset a few times⦠worth a try right.
Anyway, I found this site. Read some comments and tried undoing the bed to check the wiring (it was fine). I put the bed back together, and tried to level the bed again. Ha!.. it was out a fair bit, but not trying to destroy the bed. I thought for a bit. Then I looked under the bed at that wiring to the pressure sensor. The wires were touching the bottom of the heated bed⦠just touching!
I had a thought⦠would the wires touching on the bottom of the heated bed when the bed is at full 80 degrees C, cause a fault with the pressure sensor? Iām 50/50 on that idea. My printer working fine again. I will cable tie the wiring down to the lower tray bed support tomorrow morning. I hope that will be a permanent fix⦠I hope so, I love my Printer (when itās working well).
I hope someone finds my comments helpful.
And thanks guys⦠all the comments helped me think about my problem in a different way.
Thanks again.
