Ender 3 V3 SE lost center

About a week ago I bought an Ender 3 v3 SE. During the first auto-leveling, everything read 0. After a few test prints, the print head started scratching the bed. I fixed it with a sheet of paper, but shortly after, the printer lost its center (it's now shifted to the right) and I can't find a way to get it right. I need help, please. The circular scratch on the hot bed is in the center of the bed (due to lack of knowledge and inexperience, the bed was scratched). Putting X and Y axis at zero position with the printer turned off doesn't work. I've done a factory reset, updated the firmware, tried using Pronterface... I've done everything I could find in different tutorials, but I can't fix it. I would really appreciate any help. Tried to find answers in the forum before posting, but it seems nothing works for my issue... Thanks in advance.

Hello !
It looks like to me that your issue could come from two possible ways :sweat_smile :

  • A loose belt
  • A motor losing its teeth

Do you live in Europe ? I would contact the Customer service as you have a legal warranty of the product (in Europe for sure) and I would ask for a new printer as it is one week old or at least new components.

Off-topic, did you fix your bed scratching by modifying the Z-offset ?

Hello! Thanks for your answer. The belts seem to be tight and good and the issue of the motor without teeth, I can’t tell you. Regarding the issue of scratches on the bed, it’s solved!. Maybe I’ll talk to the after-sales service to use the warranty. Thank you very much!

Check your firmware version, I have seen this when the firmware is for a version with a bigger bed.

The Ender 3 V3 SE should have only one version. And it should accept firmware from the KE or the XZ version as they’re firmware running in Klipper language while the V3 SE is only running in Marlin
