I just bought and set up my first 3D printer: The Ender 3 V3, however when I get through the set up steps (Wifi, privacy policy, timezone, etc.) and begin the self check process, the printer crashes and restarts. It marks a checkmark on the nozzle heating before starting the hot bed heating and immediately crashing. Please send help!
Hello @Tofu …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
Congrats on getting that awesome printer…
First thing to check is the voltage switch. I think the default setting is at 240V.
If the 3D printer restarts during heating, it may be due to improper adjustment of the power gear, insufficient power supply, a short circuit in the hot end kit, or a short circuit in the hot bed. Additionally, issues with the 3D printer filament, such as a blockage or poor quality, can also lead to heating problems. Please check the heating components of the hot end and hot bed separately, as well as the filament path and quality, to determine which part is causing the restart, and then replace or repair them accordingly.
