Hi all. My first 3D printer. Initial setup routine completed fine. But I can’t push the filament through the nozzle as instructed.
The feed lever is in the unlock position and the nozzle temperature is reported as 210 degrees. I can feel the filament slipping so far past the feed wheel teeth (or whatever we call them), then it will go no further. When I remove it the filament end is cool. I have removed the head cover and I can clearly see the one feed wheel moving sideways when the lever is moved so it’s not stuck. Maybe not moving far enough?
Any ideas?
Hello @Bob_Pierce …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
With the lever in the locked position have you used the extrude function…?
If so what happens…?

Well, that extruded a little pile of plastic on the bed so I guess all is well even if I can’t feed it through by hand.
Many thanks for a speedy and helpful response.
Sounds like it’s doing what it’s supposed to so far…
Let us know how it prints…
