My Ender 3 v3 has developed a clicking sound on its Y axis. It only occurs whilst the bed is moving towards the front of the printer, i.e. in a + Y direction.
I can replicate the problem by manually moving the bed whilst the machine is powered off, so it is nothing to do with anything around the print head (as many google responses to this issue point to).
The sound seems to be coming from the rear of the machine, so where the stepper motor is located.
Full travel of the Y axis produces 3 clicks.
