So I got this back in August, with no issue’s for 4 months, now I can’t get it to print
I have replaced the nozzle, tried different filament, cleaned out the gear box, the filament seems to be extruding inconsistently which is creating these loose layers.
Which version of Creality Print are you running? I found 5.1.x would give that type of messed up print. 4.3.8 was fine. but 5.1.x wasn’t. To get that to work I had to increase the X-Y stepper current from 0.6 to 0.75, you’ll find it printer.cfg…but I am running Klipper so yours might be different.
I think I just have the base firmware 1.0.4, does that sound right?
I meant which slicer. Try the older Creality Print 4.3.8 to see if that gives a better print, it did for me. Will have to google how to change the current values for a Marlin based machine like yours.
