Ender 5 Max bed mesh / 1st layer fix question

New Ender 5 Max. Printing ABS GF only. If I set my offset about .100 at the printer the first layer prints the best for the most part but still not good. The bed mesh looks pretty bad to say the least. With the stock firmware is there a way to heat up the bed to 90c and then do the bed mesh at that temp?

Is it best to do a “Print calibration” option each time before a print and if so to do that at 90c?

On my non–rooted k1se, idk how similar the firmware would be across creality:

it seems the “self check” calibration resets and saves those values to be the default user baseline level until factory reset or user overrides calibration temporarily. This one also forces the bed to cool down to 50⁰ before test.

The “before print” calibration does NOT change the bed temp (so would measure and account for heat warp) and only will apply those results for that print. If your print finishes or is canceled, then level goes back to “default”. Hope that answers your question.
