Ender 5 Max build instructions mistake. Please help.

Hello, I am building my printer and on section 3.6 it says:

Do not power up the machine while the touch screen is connected or disconnected from the connection cable.

This obviously make no sense. It’s telling me to stop and go at the same time.. Should the screen be connected or not for the first power up?

Obviously it has to be connected. Its basically saying dont connect or disconnect it while the power is on

Hi, thank you for the reply. I get that it needs to be connected for use obviously, (no sarcasm) I was concerned about a first-time boot of the machine. Who know what weird thing somebody came up with.. I had visions of the magic smoke getting out because of some crazy setting or something on a first time power up..

Hello ! I dont have this printer so I can’t really help but have you tried to watch the unpacking operation video ?

Hi, I had not seen that video actually but thank you. I was concerned about it only in a first time power on situation, I’ve completed the build and am printing on it now. I was just being overly careful I guess..
