Ender 5 Plus Firmware Downgrade

Hello,

i have a Ender 5 Plus which was used from the old owner by a Sonic Pad.
Now i do not have the Sonic Pad so i need Downgrade to Marlin Firmware

What i have to do / Install new firmware to reuse the printer now again?

Mainboard installed V2.2 - Creality Standard

The current installed Software i do not know.

Hope anyone can help me which steps i have to do to reinstall Standard Firmware incl. BL Touch again.

Ender-5 Plus Software& Firmware Download - Creality 3D Printer

Display firmware update：

1. Format the TF card on the computer side, and select 4096 for the allocation unit size.

2. Put the file "DWIN_SET" into the TF card.

3. Turn off the printer and insert the TF card into the card slot on the back of the screen.

4. Reboot and wait for the update to finish.

5. After finishing the update, remove the TF card and delete the files inside.

Mainboard firmware update：

1. Connect the USB port of the PC port of the computer to the USB port of the Ender-5 Plus machine, and check whether the port is connected normally in This Computer -> Management -> Device Manager;

2. Open the Creality Slicer 4.8.2 software, go to Preferences -> Configure Creality -> Printers -> Add -> Select Ender-5 Plus to add;

3. Click Activate -> Update firmware -> Upload custom Firmware -> Select the firmware file "Ender-5PlusBLTouch_0402_V1.70.3 BL" -> wait for the firmware update to complete;

Hello Bill,
thanks for your hints but it does not work only install of the dispay software work.

If i connect the printer to my Laptop they install serial driver for COM3 but if i like to connect via

Creality Slicer and/or Cura it says no printer found.

If i install pronterface i can´t start a connection to the printer too.

I use different baud rates but no result. Do you have an idea what i can do now?

I know that Ender 5 Plus i can not flash by a USB Card direct or is this now possible?

Hope you can help me to reactivate my printer

Is your serial cable for communication or only power. check witch type you are using.

it is original USB cable which comes with a Creality Ender 3 printer

What are the different between the cables can i show that ?

USB cables for charging phones etc only have the power cores no comms connections.

I used the orginal cable which comes with another Creality Ender 3 Printer but i does not work.

Now i order new cable and update you if it works or not tomorrow.
