Ender 5 Pro + Sprite SE + BLTouch — Seeking Complete Calibration & Mentorship

Hi everyone! :waving_hand::tiger_face:

I’m an Ender 5 Pro owner looking for an experienced, patient person who enjoys teaching and would be willing to help me systematically inspect, configure, and calibrate my printer.

My printer configuration:

  • Creality Ender 5 Pro

  • Original motherboard (revision not yet verified)

  • Creality Sprite Extruder SE direct drive

  • BLTouch automatic bed leveling

  • MK8-style hotend

  • Magnetic and glass build plates available

  • Creality Box 2.0

  • Cura 5.11.0

  • PLA: 205°C nozzle / 60°C bed

  • External multi-spool filament rack

  • No filament runout sensor

Current problems:

I’m experiencing several issues, including:

  • Inconsistent homing and nozzle-to-bed distance

  • BLTouch leveling and Z-offset problems

  • Failed calibration prints

  • Difficulty getting reliable first-layer adhesion

  • Uncertainty about firmware compatibility and configuration

What I’m hoping to accomplish:

I’d love to work with someone who can guide me through a complete, systematic calibration, including:

  1. Mechanical inspection and adjustments

  2. Motherboard and firmware identification

  3. BLTouch configuration and Z-offset calibration

  4. Extruder and hotend calibration

  5. Bed leveling and first-layer testing

  6. Slicer configuration and successful PLA printing

My immediate goal is consistent, reliable PLA printing.

My long-term goal is to understand and master my Ender 5 Pro, so I can confidently maintain and troubleshoot it myself.

I’m a hands-on learner and prefer working through things one step at a time, understanding why each adjustment matters.

I have detailed photos of my printer and modifications. I’m comfortable using written instructions, Discord voice chat, or screen sharing.

I understand this may take multiple sessions. I’m hoping to find someone willing to volunteer their knowledge as a mentor.

If anyone is interested or can recommend someone familiar with this particular setup, I’d sincerely appreciate it!

Thank you!
