Ender s1 pro random print bed temp issue

Hi guys

I’m kind of at a lost here. Recently, my printer started givng ab temp errors.

I didbsome research Trying to fix the issue, I replaced the hot end, thinking it was the thermistor going bad. The problem unfortunately persisted, and I get random ab temp errors all the time. Very frustrating.

I use octoprint to monitor my prints, and the drop in temperature is not from the hot end, but from the bed. I set the temp usually at 60°.I see the temp graph going down on the bed temp towards 40, causing the printer to go into error and stop

I’m kind of at my wits’ end here. Is anyone has some advice to as which part could be faulty and replaced, or what could be causing this, I’d love to hear there take . Is the printer bad, do I need a replacemebt print bed…?

Thank you all!

The cable between the bed & printer is probably broken internally. Usually where it enters the base unit.

If it’s only partially broken you sometimes only get the AB Temp error when the bed is fully forward, which puts the most stress on the cable. It’s a design fault with the cable, which is too rigid for it’s purpose
