Hi,
we got our ender 3 V3 about a month ago.
Since a few days we got the filament coming out the top.
And the last time we started it after I cleaned the excess filament, it started to smell like its burning.
Any one has come across this?
Thanks

The cold end not screwed in properly so it backs up? Normally see it from an incorrectly tightened nozzle.
Thank you! I will try.
I did not yet touch the screw as the unit is only 1 month old and I had not had the need to replace anything.
But I will ensure its tight enough as it might have not been tight enough when we received it.
I had the same problem a few months ago with a new KE. The print head was already built so I didn’t check the nozzle. I wrongly assumed that it would have been done properly at the factory and I ended up having to replace the entire print head!
Now, I check every screw, nut and bolt on a printer!
Had a replacement hotend on my Ender 5 plus a while ago, plugged it all in, set it off to print only for the nozzle to come loose. So yes check all your screws especially on the printhead assembly.
