SD card only fits with the little tab on the left.
It seems upside down. Is this how it should go in?
SD Cards will only fit one way. Mine always seems back-to-front but it is correct
SD cards are usually inserted face up, with the little tab on the right.
Mine will only insert face down with the tab on the left.
The inside of the SD port looks crooked.
I have a new Ender 3 v2 NEO that I just got and have not even turned it on, until I get the SD card issue sorted.
I have the same machine, about 8 months old.
When I first used the SD card it did seem upside down but inserting it with the contact side UP is correct.
The first few times I used it, it worked fine but then the printer could not read the SD card. Creality Support suggested that I clean the SD card contacts with alcohol and leave it wet and insert it into the reader several times.
I did that and it worked perfectly; I presume that there is a residue on the contacts in the reader that needs to be cleaned off. Do the same thing if in the future you experience the same problem.

Yes, it worked with the contacts facing up.
That is opposite every other device I have.
