Was looking at the plus version as its 300x300 build, but saw reviews on youtube and didnt like a few features,ie 600ms ,too fast, bound to wreck something, and why put filament sensor at the bottom. I would like a bigger version of the ender3v3 ke,which Ive bought. Excellant printer, but creality needs to make one exactly the same, but with bigger build volume,300x300x300 say.
You can slow down a printer by lowering the max volumetric flow in the slicer. It is about like telling the computer in your sports car the tires can’t go faster than 25 mph/kph
I’ve had the Ender-3 V3 Plus for about 6 months now and have not had any issues with speed which can be controlled by various settings in the slicer you are using.
I do agree about the mounting of the filament sensor / filament. I’ve moved the filament and the sensor to the top. Many online prints available showing how to do that.
Here is a no nonsense review of the Ender-3 V3 Plus
As the Ender-3 V3 Plus is taller the frame is supported by braces. The sturdy metal frame has no problems with the extra weight on top.
The Ender 5 Max will be out for sale here in the US (Soon ???) with a 400 x 400 build plate.
Ive seen lots of reviews of the ender3 v3 plus. When you alter something in slicer, then what? Do you create or what as theres no save. Do you have to create a new printer profile?. Also Ive had to uninstall creality print 5.1.7 and 5.1.6 as they were freezing my pc. Also when I sent a print thru to my ke,the nozzle destroyed my new gold pei plate, and hardened nozzle,( (obvoously have calibrated and done successful prints on it) i blame the latest creality print software. Also screen on pc freezing
Hello Ian_Summerfield,
Can you give a bit of information about the computer you are using ?
Windows version/RAM size/ CPU/Graphics card ??
Cheers.
