Epoxy Resin Plate - Any help?

I ordered and received today the Epoxy Resin Plate for the K2P because The original (Frosty) PEI plate is a bit too much textured for some prints.

I used CP6 to make a first test print and found out that the standard ‘Generic PLA’ has 0° hotbed temp setup for expoxy resign.
But when I start print bed heats up to 60° so what should be default temperature for PLA on Epoxy?

Do you have any other hints to use the plate rightfully?

I found also one big difference: At least on V1.1.1.7 the K2P won’t run PA & Flow calibration on Epoxy plate! It just stoop’s after bed leveling without any message on display as long as I try to print on Epoxy with calibration.

Normal bed leveling and printing works…

They just updated it. I just got the resin plate, kinda thought it was a smooth pei plate. Anyway was a little confused about sane thing. New update 6.0.2,1574 in creality print has the epoxy one at 40 now

Yes, they changed something but the problem is still that in all filament profiles the Epoxy is set to 0° heating!

I stopped to use it and using with both plates the ‘Textured PEI Plate’ and it works for all PLA, PETG & ASA prints I did on it so far.
What they changed in 6.0.2,1574 is that the slicer will tell you that you cannot print Creality Hyper-PLA (for example) with a 0° plate and ask you to increase it (which you need to do in the filament profile which you can’t change for the system profiles!

Yeah, it showed 40 degrees for my k1c on an epoxy plate. I got same warning on epoxy plate when i put it in k2 profile. I was in k1c profile when i saw 40 degrees. It kinda spooked me. I almost sent them back. I thought it was a smooth hot plate like on my k1c, it’s slightly textured, i like the smooth bottms much better

I like the smoother texture a lot and use it as default now, but as I mentioned above, with the Textured PEI setting.

If there will be 3rd party beds available (I had a nice textured on one side and laser pattern very smooth on other side) for my Qidi which I like very much but 3rd party vendors did not jump on K2 so far.

The real epoxy plates as they are used for PCx filaments are more like the one in K1c.

In general, both available plates have been working well for me printingg mainly PLA, PETG and ASA without ANY glue stick or spray so far.
I just clean them every week or so with 80% IPA (you can use also glass cleaner…)
