I was printing today when some very strange behavior happened.
First the display turned off, I thought the printer had a problem, so I turned it off and on again. Then another strange situation: the progress bar stopped halfway. Off and on again.
That’s when things got worse! I smelled a bad smell and tried to remove the microSD.
I burned my finger because the card was too hot!!! I thought the worst!
Testing everything again, I discovered that the card was short-circuited (???), so I tried another microSD. The temperature was normal, but the behavior has been erratic since then.
I tried updating the firmware, but I can no longer level the mesh.
The printer somehow loses its references, and thinks the head is in one position on the bed, when it is in another.
Now when I try the simplest task (leveling the bed) I can’t finish it because my head gets stuck trying to go beyond its limits… Please, does anyone have an answer other than “change the board”…?
Has this ever happened to anyone?
