I have Creality Hi, after starting it I started printing what was on the printer by default (waste container and speed test print) everything came out ok. Then from CrealityPrint6.1 I selected a test print of the cube and the ship. Neither of them came out correctly and ended with the cm2789 error. No matter what I download and send to print, everything ends incorrectly. Only the default prints come out ok. Can anyone help?
A small update to the topic.
On the left, Benchy cut and sent to print on CrealityPrint v6.1 and on the right, the same project cut and sent to print on CrealityPrint v5.1.7.
When this broken print on the left ended, the hotbed moved forward rapidly until you could hear the y-axis belt jumping on the stepper motor gear, and after clicking OK, the printer screen displayed the message CM2789 Abnormal resistance in the y-axis movement direction motor released. Fix issue and restart.
In the case of print cut and send on CrealityPrint v5.1.7 , the one on the right side of the photo, there was no such strange behavior.
Also, the same project cut and sent to print by OrcaSlicer v2.3.0 ends with failure.
Default models for printing placed by Creality on the machine come out perfectly, after downloading the gcode of these prints I read in the header that they were cut in CrealityPrint v5.1.7
I contacted Creality online consultant, he sent several links to their wiki, which indicated a poorly closed camera shutter, loose screws and added that they were very sorry for the problems and thatās all they can advise at the moment
When the printer is turned off mechanically everything moves smoothly.
When turned on manually forcing the head movement you can also easily go around the entire hotbed.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
I have the same problem with the X-axis. The seller sent a new X-axis driver, but it doesnāt work. The X-axis is not moving. How do I register a new driver in the printer?
In my case, the problem is clearly the software/firmware for the hardware.
All the prints that Creality placed in the printer by default came out correctly, but what I cut and sent to print came out wrong or the printer stopped with an error of axis-Y
I was really irritated by this and finally I sent the printer back with a request for a refund.
This was my second printer from Creality, another one with problems, so Iām fed up⦠which is a shame because the product has potential.
If I get a refund, Iāll probably buy the Bambu A1 Combo.
Having similar issue. Bought the HI with CFS combo. Issues with the retract from cfs to. But get the CM2789 and head slamming to the right when homing. Y homes correctly but the X slams to the right. Unboxed 3 days ago. It did its firmware update etc. Not sure if its the new firmware or not as no experiance with the other.
I run a heavily modded Ender3 OG and this HI is worse with issues than OG. This is frustrating as I bought a NEW printer thinking I would not have any issues but guess I was wrong.
Creality HI 126D Firmware V1.1.0.47
Not sure how to try going back to previous firmware to see if that is the issue.
Have you tried to calibrate the cutter? And is the video camera cover installed properly? Calibration is in the settings, self-check. And if that doesnāt help, do a full reset. That helped me.
I tried all things from creality wiki. None of thees helped. I reset printer to factory default couple of times and even one time get axis x error when performing self test and calibration at start afters reset. Finaly still ended with axis y error. Creality tech support donāt even emailed to me after i chat with online support and make ticket request. Finaly i send back printer and get refund. Before i have Ender3 V3 SE with some tunign. I want to buy something bether, newer and multi color and Creality Hi was a total failure. I donāt have time to deal with manufacturer mistakes.
the same
looks like he didnāt see cutter sensor when executing cutter calibration and push cutter several times increasing torque, but on fifth movement it is too high and motor lost steps, then motor driver turns off, but mashine continue shaping
donāt use cutter calibration, and it work normally, may be it is firmware fail and hope it will be repaired
after 1.1.0.48 install problem with cutter āovercutingā was solvedā:ok_hand:
other problem is selecting nozzle temp in case of two cfs connected together: in cfs-edit first cfs temp for generic pla is 190-225, and second cfs temp for generic pla is 190-240 and is not changeable from edit, color adjustable only, pressure advance not adjustable too (0.04mm) - āwhat this function do?ā
when printing, printer sets nozzle temp from slicer only for first cfs, for second cfs it use 220āC even i set it in slicer to 210āC
