Hello,
after ~60h of printing i had a blocking error happening near the end of a print ( solid color , no color change at this point of the print).
The print was halted with the print head above the poop chut, and nothing was moving/working anymore.
Reviewing error history it is a CM2798 erro code on X,Y ,Z1 and Z2…
Now i can’t do anything anymore, the testing phase of the motor never ending good, so even Klipper is not usable, shutting down after each testing phase.
I already visually controlled everything i could but did not find any loose socket or anything and the boards seem fine.
Can anyone have an idea where to search to troubleshot my problem.
Thanks
I have the same issue as you do. Need some help too. Mine was CM2798 X1 servo issue
The support told me to unplug the motor one by one and generate a klippy log and send it to them.
Via a fluidd interface (192.168.X.X:4408) i also tried to restart the firmware and klipper. The only motor that gave me a different message was Z1.
I’m waiting for the support analyse right now.
Hi Lombard_David. I have the exact same error code. CM2798 on X,Y ,Z1 and Z2. Did you get a solution from Creality?
You have to test each motor. Remove the backplate of the printer, on the left middle section there is a board where all the motors are plugged.
Unplug them one by one, restarting the printer each time. On the problematic motor, the error message will change a little, in place of quoting all the motor ,it will only quote 1 motor, there is your culprit.
Creality has send me a new Z1 motor in my case but i still have problem, because it try to turn in each way (clockwise and counter clockwise) at the same time during homing, finding a blocage while the motor and Z rod are not even in the printer.
¿Has podido solucionarlo finalmente? ¿El Servicio Técnico descartó por completo la controladora del motor?
Un saludo.
They are not really fast to answer, so i wait for them to conclude that the new motor and close loop card are faulty to send me a new one.
